This Boulder vacation rental and mountain retreat was an absolutely fantastic space!
The open floor plan with vaulted windows, as unique and gorgeous chandelier, and the fire place in the living room room create a spacious and inviting vibe. Walking up to the master suite was such a treat with a view and comfort to boot! The layout of the bedrooms downstairs is capable of accommodating a larger group of people with the ability to still have space and privacy. The kitchen, living room, and dining room is well appropriated and conducive to cooking, congregating, and entertaining.
The property has many areas to congregate and enjoy the quite outdoors from a tiered patio with a fire pit, an outdoor deck off the living room, or enjoy a cool off in the pool.
The hosts were gracious and sent a very detailed outline of tips and tricks to enjoying our stay including hiking right across the street, town, and restaurant recommendations. They included their contact information in case we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful and unique immensely and highly recommend this property any group!

The Boulder, Colorado Sunshine Canyon home is in an excellent location. Appreciated that we could walk across the street to the hiking trails and did not always have to drive to such. The pool was an incredible added bonus for our kids! The outdoor spaces and yard were private and spacious. Appreciated the privacy and tranquility that the mature trees and mountains on the property provided. There was something for everyone in our family. Three of our kids even got to witness a baby bear cub running through the property/yard one day!
The hosts, Jason and Jill, were incredibly responsive. Always answered texts. Answered all questions. Gave great recommendations to restaurants.
Their house was immaculately clean and in excellent condition when we stayed. The views were stunning from inside the house. Truly, a perfect mountain location and retreat for our family! Jason and Jill thank you again for sharing your home with our family!
P.S. We wanted to share that our family was staying there because our daughter was having surgery at Children’s Hospital in Colorado. We felt their house in Boulder was in a better location for the rest of our family than staying right by the hospital. It allowed the rest of our family who was not at the hospital a wonderful mountain vacation. We did the drive from Boulder, Sunshine Canyon to Children’s Hospital in Colorado most days and it took between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and time of day. Something to consider if there’s another family out there looking for a mountain getaway while their child is staying at the hospital. It’s definitely drivable and a scenic drive at that. Well worth the daily commute to the hospital.

The house is gorgeous and is set on the side of the mountain. We saw deer walk down from the mountain across, the driveway to enjoy an evening snack. The house was beautiful and the view from the picturesque window in the living room was stunning! It was so nice on the last evening to sit inside with the windows open and listen to an evening shower.
Jason was a great host and very attentive to our every need. If we find ourselves back in the Boulder area, we would definitely see if the house is available.

What a beautiful and spacious home! Jason was a wonderful host… extremely responsive and helpful and kind. The house was beautiful, and located so close to Pearl and all the action. There were gorgeous hiking trails right outside the door, and the property itself was amazing. We had a large group and always felt like we had tons of space. THANK YOU to Jason for allowing us to have such an amazing weekend with family and friends. This made CU Boulder parent’s weekend even more special!

Our family is very grateful for the opportunity to spend Christmas together at this wonderful home. Colorado charm with easy access to downtown Boulder. The house is as described with ample room to spread out and wonderful space to be together as well. We experienced all types of weather. Snow, subfreezing temps and bright sunshine and the house did not disappoint. We have experienced no one better than Jason as a VRBO host. He was available, helpful and enthusiastic in making our stay as good as it was. Would love to stay here again.

We currently own a 6500 sq ft vacation home in the White Mountains of Northern Arizona and have owned a high-end 5600 sq ft vacation home in Angel Fire New Mexico and this place felt like home. We love it and because our son and family live near this area we will stay again. My only wish is to meet Jason and his wife, they are probably outstanding people.
